"I have this jacket since May 09, one would think that summer is not a time to test a jacket, well it is here in Alaska. I work in Summer in Seward as a Sea kayak guide. Alaska's coast line ins notorious for its extremely rainy climate following temperatures that are familiar with winter temperatures in most places in the world as 5-15 C or 40-50F. This jacket kept me warm and dry even after a week of constant rain, the fact that the shell is so tough will prevent your jacket from tearing due to rocks and trees or what ever.

I just now came back from the north slope of the Brooks Range in Alaska, the jacket preformed well in: rain snow storm heavy wind day and night a trip of five days, perfect.

A big advantage of this jacket is that it dose not have any insulation and the shell dose not absorb water. Thees properties enable the jacket to keep you dry in the most wet conditions, this is a great product.

Good luck in your adventures.
Eyal"
